As you may have noticed, Michigan Department of Transportation (MDoT) personnel are working on an improvement project of M-26 through Hubbell.
The first phase of the project, which is now underway, is involves removal and replacement of sidewalk ends. They will then be replaced with ends that are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The next phase of the project will be the milling, grinding and replacement of the road surface.
The project is expected to be completed by mid-July. Traffic control devices will be stopping and redirecting traffic from time to time as the project moves forward. Please be patient, and allow extra time for you to reach your destination.
