M-26 Improvement project cancelled

Shortfalls in funding has forced cancellation of the M-26 rebuild planned for 2011.

MDoT has announced cancellation of over 130 road improvement projects which had benn slated for 2011.  Funding shortfalls have been cited by state officals as the reason for the cancellation.

 

The state legislature is currently working on a host of funding initiatives, which, if approved may lead to reinstatement of the project.
