Help Needed to Prevent Vandalism

Posted by on Monday, July 21, 2008

Your help is needed to keep our township parks safe from damage caused by vandals.

Once again, we are experiencing problems with vandalism in the Hubbell Park and the White City Park.  Both the Houghton County Sheriff Department and the Michigan State Police have been contacted and and asked to make period checks of the parks when they patrol.  Also, Lake Linden Village Police Dept. makes periodic checks of the Hubbell Park.

We ask that you help in the efforts to prevent damage and keep our parks safe.  Any information you can provide in this effort can be kept confidential.

If you live near either park and observe unlawful/unruly activity, please call 911 immediately and report the activity.  Your help is greatly appreciated.
